Intim, ergreifend, authentisch und tiefgründig: Meadows gibt sein Innenleben preis. Manchmal düster, manchmal hoffnungsvoll, aber immer voller Leben und Emotionen. Geboren und aufgewachsen ist der klassisch ausgebildete und unfassbar talentierte Fingerstyle-Gitarrist und Songwriter Christoffer Wadensten in der Kleinstadt Söderköping an der Ostküste Schwedens. Seit ein paar Jahren lebt er in Örebro, wo ihm zu Ehren mittlerweile sogar ein eigenes Festival mit dem Titel „In Meadows´ Ears“ veranstaltet wird.
Er hat die letzten 10 Jahre unter dem Pseudonym Meadows die Welt bereist und mit seiner introspektiven, akustischen Musik, sowie seiner fesselnden Persönlichkeit zahlreiche Clubs und Wohnzimmer erfüllt und Menschen verzaubert. Er ist ein Weltenbummler; Innerlich oft zerrissen, aber immer mit der Freude an neuen Erlebnissen, neuen Freunden und dem Drang zum Abenteuer um spannende Geschichten zu schreiben. Seine Musik vereint, macht Fremde zu Freunden und Fans, die in seiner Musik Zuflucht und Vertrauen finden.

Maltese-born Alexandra Alden, like many, is on a search for belonging. She navigates ironic tales about the end of the world, the gentle wisdom of the butterfly effect as well as the immensity and beauty of nature through her music, with a sense of urgency and awe. A nomad of both heart and spirit, descending from a direct line of musicians and artists, Alden travels throughout Europe and the USA, sharing the stories of her unconventional ‚vagabond‘ life, always finding comfort in liminal or transitional spaces.
Alden also served as backing vocalist and rhythm guitarist for the international, German-fronted band ‘The Magic Mumble Jumble’ and recently collaborated with UK illustrator Chris Riddell (Phoebe Bridgers, Christian Lee Huston, Boygenius, The National etc) for a collaborative performance, composing the song ‘Blossom Dearest’ to accompany his reillustrated version of ‘The Little Prince’.
